Netflix Announces Global Release Of New Anime Series AJIN: Demi-Human
Netflix in conjunction with Polygon Pictures, the Japanese 3DCG animation studio, have announced that the two companies will once again premier a brand new Anime series on the TV streaming service.
Following on from the success of Knights of Sidonia, this new show is based on the Manga series by Gamon Sakura, AJIN: Demi-Human.
“The story is about a student named Kei Nagai, who discovers he is an immortal “Ajin” when he is hit by a truck. He becomes a wanted person because the Ajins are considered criminals and the only person who is there to support him is his best friend, Kaito.”
The series is already being adapted for a film with three planned, the first scheduled for release later this year. This new Anime series is set for release next year with all thirteen episodes being released on the service across the world.
