Microsoft have unveiled their new Xbox One Elite Bundle. This will feature a matte finish Xbox One console that contains a 1 terabyte solid state hard drive (SSHD) and a new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller.
Microsoft boasts that their new SSHD will cut loading times, and allow gamers to jump into action 20% faster than the current Xbox One. With the upgrade from a cylinder drive to a solid state hybrid drive, the latter has a partition that allows the storage of the most frequently used files. This allows quicker access to the required information, reducing loading time and energy use. However, it remains to be seen just how successful this will be.
The new Elite Wireless Controller offers customisation with interchangeable paddles, hair trigger locks and further customisation with the Xbox Accessories app.
Microsoft also announced a special edition Lunar White Wireless Controller, which has all the previously stated additions as well as improved grip, and a white and gold colour scheme.
