With the recent announcements of returning characters to Street Fighter V, primarily from the Alpha series, it’s no surprise that the latest character reveal is none other then Rainbow Mika. Having one of the longest absences in the franchise, Mika was introduced in Street Fighter Alpha 3, and hasn’t been seen until now. Mika dreamed of being a star wrestler, looking up to her hero Zangief, with a similar relationship to Sakura and Ryu.
Rainbow Mika has changed a considerable amount since the last time we saw her, specifically in regards to her fighting style. Instead of fighting alone, Mika now fights in a tag team style alongside her partner, Nadeshiko. You can call Nadeshiko into the ring by using Mika’s V-Trigger ability, giving her a very unique fighting style to the other cast members. With a new fighting style similar to Marvel Vs. Capcom, this is a fresh new chance for people to fall in love with the 7 colour bomber.
Street Fighter V is set to release for PS4 and PC in March 2016.
