Elizabeth Henstridge Hints Character’s Fate On Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
In an interview with TV Line, Elizabeth Henstridge has hinted to the fate of her character, Dr Jemma Simmons. Season 2 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ended with Agent Simmons being engulfed be the mysterious Kree monolith so feared by the Inhumans. Commenting on it, she said, “She’s definitely changed by the experience, and what’s happened to her is going to impact the season — kind of as a theme or something like that.”
When asked if she could have guessed the outcome she responded, “I didn’t think that they’d go that far with it, honestly,” before complimenting the imagination of the show’s writing team.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns to screens September 29.
