Disney Revive The Lion King With The Lion Guard TV Movie And Series

This… could be interesting! Disney have decided to revisit The Lion King once again with a new hour-long TV movie that will be followed by an ongoing series. Disney Junior have released a preview for the upcoming sequel to The Lion King, The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar.
The movie focuses on the youngest son of Simba and Nala as he takes leadership of The Lion Guard, a group of animals who are responsible for protecting the pride lands. The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar will air on The Disney Channel in November with the TV series to debut in early 2016.
There will also be a special preview of The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar at the D23 Expo on August 16.
