After the roaring success that was Breaking Bad, fans will no doubt be thrilled to hear that Bryan Cranston is now co-creating a new TV show called Sneaky Pete. The show was originally passed on by CBS, but has since been picked up by Amazon for a trial period of sorts. Amazon is set to debut the pilot of the series online on August 7 and then let the audience vote on whether it should be made into a full series.
The plot follows a “30-something con man who assumes the identity of his cellmate, Pete, after leaving prison, hiding from his debtors while working for his new family’s bail bond business.”
The series will star Giovanni Ribisi as the con man, as well as co-stars Marin Ireland, Margo Martindale, Peter Gerety, Libe Barer, and Shane McRae.
