Thanks to Empire Magazine, we comic fans now know a whole lot more on what DC has in store for us, and when they’ll be making the much anticipated Wonder Woman and Justice League films.
“[Patty] Jenkins is in London prepping Wonder Woman, which will shoot there this autumn. Suicide Squad, already well underway in Toronto under the earthy gaze of [David] Ayer, will shoot through to September. “I do watch the dailies,” she promises, enthusing about the film’s “street quality.” They are already doing soft prep for the Justice League, which will begin shooting in the spring, and overseeing the script for Aquaman, which James Wan will direct.”
Despite losing the director attached, Wonder Woman is firing ahead with Patty Jenkins at the helm and is right on schedule. With Gal Gadot donning the iconic character and Chris Pine by her side, there are high hopes riding on this film.
Gal Gadot‘s Wonder Woman is slated for release on June 23 in 2017, while Snyder‘s Justice League Part One will also see release that year on November 12.
Those are two huge films for 2017! And thats just DC. We can’t forget about Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 or Hugh Jackman‘s last outing as Wolverine that year as well.
