The book Z for Zachariah by Robert C. O’Brien, which was posthumously published in 1974, was critically acclaimed upon release. Now, we’ll see the movie adaption on the big screen in August this year.
According to IMDB, the premise of the film is as follows:
“In the wake of a disaster that wipes out most of civilization, two men and a young woman find themselves in an emotionally charged love triangle as the last known survivors.”
Starring Margot Robbie, Chris Pine and Chiwetel Ejiofor, early reviews of the film have been extremely positive, with an 80% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The official trailer has been released, so make sure to check it out below:
