Nintendo opened up their E3 press conference with a bang this year, with Reggie Fils-Aime, Satoru Iwata and Shigeru Miyamoto all in puppet form being transformed into Falco, Peppy and Fox. Nintendo revealed a trailer for the long awaited Star Fox Wii U title, now under the name Star Fox Zero. The game is being co-developed by Nintendo and none other then Platinum Games.
The game will feature a number of vehicles, including a new transformation for the Arwing called the Walker (ground combat focused). The Landmaster will also be making its return to the series alongside a gyrocopter which allows you to control a small robot to explore new areas.
The game will utilize both normal Arwing battles in space on the television screen and will allow you to switch to a first person cockpit mod on the Wii U gamepad.
