'Southern Bastards' Variant Will Aid Charleston Shooting Victims
A variant cover for the Southern Bastards comic book series has been unveiled with the promise that its proceeds will go to the victims of the Charleston Shootings.
Created by Jason Aaron and Jason Latour, Southern Bastards is deeply rooted in the south. Given the recent controversy sourounding the Confedirate flag, however, the creators of this series have certainly stepped up and made their feelings known.
The variant was posted on social media last night with Latour adding;
“We were going to wait till next week to post this but in light of the stuff happening at the SC Capitol today, Jason [Aaron] and I think the timing is right. Presently working on a way to offer proceeds from this ‘Southern Bastards’ #10 variant to the Charleston Shooting victims.”
