It’s been brought to our attention that actor Ron Moody, perhaps best known for his role as Fagin in the 1968 adaptation of Oliver Twist, passed away yesterday in hospital aged 91.
Here he is teaching a young Oliver Twist the need for picking a pocket… or two!
Fans of Moody may also recognise his voice from another childhood favourite, The Animals of Farthing Wood, as the actor leant his talents to several characters in the cartoon series.
