Although we’re still basking in the glow of the information released from E3, we have even more good news to announce! Neil Gaiman‘s best selling novel American Gods is coming to the small screen.
Fremantle Media North America is set to adapt the acclaimed novel, with fantasy and sci-fi veterans Michael Green (Heroes) and Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) locked down as writers and executive producers for the show. According to STARZ, poduction on the show is set to start as soon as Shadow Moon, the main character, is cast.
American Gods is about Moon, an ex-con who is somehow thrown in the middle of an incredible war between the old gods and the new. Both biblical and mythological gods are at odds with each other while a young league of new gods powered by money and media casts the fate of godhood into question.
What do you think of an American Gods series? Who do you want to see playing Shadow Moon? Let us know in the comments!
