It was announced pre-showcase, but EA have given the first proper details on the new Mirror’s Edge. It will be the story of Faith becoming the figurehead of rebellion she is in the first game, as well as showing the story of what made the city into the oppressive landscape it becomes. The slightly avant-garde aesthetic of the first with red and white ids was downplayed for a more colourful and shadowy experience, in-line with the darker tones in the trailer.
Much of the gameplay remains intact, with the player being able to bounce around and make their own way through each situation as they see fit.
Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst will be released February, 2016.
