We’ve all heard the legend that a true pro gamer can hold their bladder for days on end and go several raids without food or water for the sake of their clan. However, it would seem that in the case of Seon ‘Space‘ Ho-san from South Korea’s CJ Entus, this is not true.
During a recent match between CJ Entus and KT Rolster, Entus’ AD carry Space requested a pause from the game’s referee so that he could go to the toilet. With both teams tying one game for one, the third match was paused 45 minutes in, to be resumed a few minutes later with CJ Entus taking the victory.
Understandably, KT Rolster fans and players alike are agitated at the disruption, claiming that the pause disrupted the games flow. Sources claim that the pause was granted after Space explained that he had been suffering from a cold and had been drinking water to fight dehydration.
Unfortunately for disgruntled KT Rolster fans, there is a rule allowing players to request a temporary pause in the event of illness, emergency or injury, however Riot Korea has since issued CJ Entus a warning as a way of discouraging other players from attempting to use this as a strategy.
