Since his untimely death in 2011, Steve Jobs‘ biopic has been the topic of much speculation. The reason for this hardly needs delving into (we don’t peddle platitudes at The Arcade). However, with the release of a trailer we get some answers. The enigmatic main role is to be played by Michael Fassbender, a promising choice in light of his performance in the eponymous Frank last year.
We also learn that the director is Danny Boyle (Sunshine; Slumdog Millionaire) and the screenplay will be written by Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing; The Social Network) with a cast that includes Kate Winslet, Seth Rogan and Jeff Daniels – who worked closely with Sorkin on The Newsroom.
