After many hints and teasing it is finally official! Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5 will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox one later this year with PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to arrive at a later date, GameInformer have confirmed.
The team behind the 2012’s THPS HD remake, developer Robomodo, is back with a new entry in to the series which will go back to basics, drawing from the first four releases of the Tony Hawk series.
THPS 1-4 were skill based level games, where each level had to be beaten through completing a series of level specific challenges such as topping high scores or finding hidden items.
Thankfully, Robomodo will be sticking to the same basics but adding new features at the same time such as power-ups. The game will also be incorporating the more modern day facilities that gaming has such as online co-op play and competitions, something that wasn’t available through THPS 1-4.
