Teen Titans Set For Pilot Production In Late 2015

Recently, we’ve been treated to exciting looking trailers for upcoming DC-inspired shows, including Supergirl and Lucifer. Although we’re spoiled for choice, there’s still a few shows set to be in development this year that we’ve got our eye on.
One of those shows is a Teen Titans adaption series called Titans that’s in the works. You could be forgiven for not knowing it was even an idea, as it’s been kept very quiet. It will focus on Batman’s former sidekick Dick Grayson as Nightwing and, according to TVLine, will be nothing like TNT has produced before. Joining Grayson will be longtime teammates Starfire and Raven.
TNT president, Kevin Reilly, has said, “I think it’s going to end up being a very, very interesting offering. I think it’s going to be excellent.”
We’ll have to take his word for it! The pilot will be written by Oscar winner, Akiva Goldsman, who also wrote the Joel Schumacher helmed Batman & Robin.
Although the cheesy dialogue from the 90s adaption doesn’t speak volumes for Goldsman, we’re willing to give him a chance as he also wrote the screenplay for I Am Legend.
Are you excited for Titans? Let us know in the comments!
