Ridley Scott’s adaption of The Martian by Andy Weir is set for release later this year. The film follows the exploits of astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon). Yesterday, new photographs were released to the press and, well, it looks like Ridley Scott might be taking a lesson or two from Christopher Nolan.
The pictures alone are not much to go on. Still, they’re not bad to look at, and they showcase the cast that feature in the film. Scott‘s most recent releases might not match his earlier work, but he can still draw in a talented line-up: Sean Bean, Jessica Chastain, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Kristen Wiig to name but a few. That said, November is still a way off yet, but stay tuned for more updates.
