Marvel’s Agent Carter Is Getting A Second Season

We waited with baited breath to see if Agent Carter, an 8-episode series that explored Peggy Carter’s life post the first Captain America film, would get a second season as, well, it’s excellent. ABC have announced that it has been renewed, along with Agents of SHIELD, for their 2015-16 season.
The show’s writers, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, will stay on for the second run, with Hayley Atwell expected to return as the titular Agent Carter along with the rest of the cast. The series had a strong critical following, with viewership being slightly softer, but a renewal shows a willingness to allow the show to grow into a bigger audience. So you’d all better watch it!
