Fan Footage Of Suicide Squad Production Shows Lovers' Quarrel
On the set of Suicide Squad in Toronto this week, an onlooking DC fan managed to capture footage of the clown prince and princess of Gotham in what looks to be a lovers’ spat. Heavy speculation has been building regarding which version of Harley Quinn (played by Margot Robbie) we are going to see portrayed in this upcoming production.
There have been different interpretations of her since the 1990s, ranging from that of an obsessive anarchist to a slightly unhinged anti-hero. The footage as shown below leans towards the original incarnation featured in Batman: The Animated Series. A woman enamoured with a madman who she intends to protect, no matter the cost to her well-being, or anyone else’s for that matter.

The relationship between The Joker (played by Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn will require a delicate hand to guide it into the realms of a believable love story on-screen. Early indications point to a faithful adaptation that is sure to raise eyebrows among casual cinema-goers. Suicide Squad hits Irish shores on the 5th of August, 2016.
