Chris Pratt Committed To Long Term Marvel Contract
We all fell hard for the virtually unknown Chris Pratt when he took on the role of Peter Quill, or Starlord, for 2014’s smash hit Guardians of the Galaxy, and we’re happy to say there’s more to come.
During an interview with GQ, he revealed details about his locked down contract and what we can expect for the next few years. “I’m tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple…,” he said.
The general consensus is that Pratt will be set to star in Guardians of the Galaxy sequels, as well as other spin-off projects where he’d appear as Starlord with other Marvel characters.
According to GQ, Pratt had just finished a meeting with director James Gunn where he was filled in on the plot for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Pratt reportedly got teary-eyed and said of Gunn, “He’s so f*cking smart and peculiar.”
