We reported that Chadwick Boseman would be taking the mantle of Black Panther in the upcoming Marvel Studios production, but rumors are still abound about the identity of the actor playing his predecessor the King T’Chaka. In a recent news piece from the website latinoreview.com we have heard word that Ernie Hudson, most famously known as being Winston from the Ghostbusters franchise, has been studying the lore behind the Black Panther comic books. This may not seem notable, until you hear that his penchant was drawn more towards King T’Chaka focused editions of the series. For now this is speculation, We have a strong inclination that it may come to fruition.
Our first taste of Black Panther will come during the screening of Age of Ultron, where we will get a glimpse of the big bad Ulysses Klaw played by Andy Serkis. From there we will see the tone for which the Black Panther movie will be told in. They could easily go a lighthearted route with veteran comedian Ernie Hudson on board. What do you think Arcadians? Do you want to see Ernie take up the helm of Wakanda and bring a veterans touch to this Marvel Studios feature?
