Nokia Technologies Set To Return To Market In 2016

The Finnish-based company that once dominated the global market could be making a comeback. After selling off many of its products and services to Microsoft, a branch of Nokia is rumoured to be working on a new smartphone that could launch next year.
nokia thumnailNokia Technologies, one of the three divisions that were not sold to Microsoft are, according to a report by Re/code, looking to return to the market in 2016.
Although there isn’t much confirmed regarding the look and other specifics, the general consensus is that it will run the Android Operating System.
It was also reported that Nokia is currently working on some other projects including virtual reality.
At this early stage, it’s quite uncertain how Nokia are going to get back into the thick of the phone market, however the news follows a recent rumour that Nokia is planning to buy competitor Alcatel-Lucent.
