The Terminator franchise is no stranger to a slightly off timeline – in fact, it practically thrives on it. But this new trailer for upcoming Terminator: Genisys may take the cake for the biggest twist in the Terminator lore to date, time travel and all.
The film, starring Emila Clarke, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jason Clarke, is the start of a new trilogy in the series that tells a new version of the fall of mankind to Skynet and Sarah Connor’s prominent role in the war against the machines.
Terminator: Genisys blows into theaters July 1st, 2015.
