Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Trailer May Be Coming Sooner Than Expected
Initially, the first trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was to be attached to Mad Max: Fury Road, which will be released in May. Now, it appears that Warner Bros want eyes on their superhero blockbuster even before that.
Courtesy of El Mayimbe of Latino Review, it’s been rumored that Zack Snyder will release the first five seconds of the trailer on his Instagram account, followed by a release of the trailer in theaters in the US on Monday the 22nd of April, followed by the trailer then being attached to prints of The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
RT! HUGE #BatmanvSuperman RUMOR! Zack Snyder at 9am on Thursday, an hour before the start of Star Wars celebration will tweet the first five seconds of the new #BatmanvSupermanDawnofJustice trailer on his Twitter. You will then be able to sign up to view the full trailer in a theater on Monday April 20th. Also, the trailer will in fact be in front of prints of #AVENGERS #AGEOFULTRON! BOOM! #dc #marvel
This story has been confirmed by Steve Weintraub of Collider, though he hadn’t heard about the trailer being attached to The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Though this puts whether or not the trailer will run with Mad Max into question, it makes every sense that Warner Bros would attach it to Age of Ultron, seeing as it is beyond a shadow of a doubt the biggest film set for release this Summer.
Interestingly, Snyder’s Insta-tease is set to land an hour ahead of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens panel at Star Wars Celebration on Thursday, so the next week might be a whirlwind of DC, Marvel and Star Wars goodies. What a time to be alive, eh?
