Yes folks, the 5th season of Arrested Development has been confirmed for Netflix.
In an interview on Bill Simmons’ podcast, Arrested Development executive producer Brian Grazer made it known definitively that season 5 of the sitcom is definitely making its way to Netflix.
“We’re gonna do another 17 episodes, so stay tuned for Arrested Development.”
For those who don’t know, Arrested Development is a sitcom that ran on Fox between 2003-2006 and concerns a fictional, dysfunctional family known as the Bluths as they deal with life after having been wealthy for a time. Season 4 was produced by Netflix in 2013, with a movie also said to be in the works, but with this revelation it is unknown where that project stands.
