“I signed for a year and the year’s up.” Jada Pinkett Smith Not Returning To Gotham
In an interview with ABC’s Live with Kelly and Michael, actress Jada Pinkett Smith who has spent the last while playing Fish Mooney on Gotham has spoken about her character and her role on the show.
For the last while Smith has been talking about the fate of her character, hinting that though Mooney’s encounter with the Dollmaker was rough, the character wasn’t to be counted out just yet but her own time on the show was up.
“I signed for a year and the year’s up. BUT! There are some great things coming ahead on Gotham, believe you me.”
Smith hasn’t hammered the final nail in Mooney’s coffin and while she won’t return herself that’s not to say her character won’t! Gotham is set to return this April!
