Ducktales Set For 2017 Return
Good news for classic Disney fans today with the return of Ducktales announced. The Emmy Award-winning series, featuring Scrooge McDuck and his family, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Donald Duck will return with a new series on Disney XD in 2017.
The series is being brought to life by Disney Television Animation and will send Scrooge and co. plus a number of other classic supporting characters into top gear once again.
Speaking about the cartoons return, Marc Buhaj, Programming and General Manager at Disney XD said “DuckTales has a special place in Disney’s TV animation history, it drew its inspiration from Disney Legend Carl Barks’ comic books and through its storytelling and artistic showmanship, set an enduring standard for animated entertainment that connects with both kids and adults. Our new series will bring that same energy and adventurous spirit to a new generation.”
