Big Hero 6 Is Disney's Third Most Successful Animated Film Ever

It sure wouldn’t suck to be a higher up employee of Disney right now. Variety are reporting that Big Hero 6, the Marvel/Disney crossover about a team of heroes coming together over a mutual tragedy, is Disney’s third most successful film of all time, joining Frozen and The Lion King to form the triumvirate.
Hardly odd as Big Hero 6 is excellent and a Marvel/Disney mash-up of sorts at this stage was always a shoe-in, but what is odd is that a sequel hasn’t been greenlit yet. Co-Directors Chris Williams and Don Hall have said that they’re too busy to discuss pushing the franchise forward at this time, and that it must be a great story, and they haven’t got one planned yet.
Either way, long may films as good as Big Hero 6 reign!
