It’s been confirmed that the build it and play it Mario game, Mario Maker, which allows players to design levels for our plumber turned hero and play/share them has been delayed. Originally scheduled for an early 2015 release, the game has been given a more broad release date for this same year according to a report by Nintendo, this delay is happening right across the regions with no reason given as to the hold up on the release.
The game allows players to customise their own stages throughout the various timelines/style of the Mario games, from his early days on the NES right up to his current look and adventures on the Wii U.
