Kamala Khan Graffiti Campaign Over Islamophobic Bus Ads In San Francisco

San Francisco buses have been wheeling around Islamophobic ads of late, and fans of the latest Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan simply aren’t having it. The adverts, purchased by known hate group Freedom Defense Initiative who equate Muslims with Nazis, have been covered up by graffiti artists with a lovely picture of Kamala Khan and turned into messages of peace and love for the Islamic community.
If you’ve been unaware of Kamala’s antics in the comic world, well, she’s kind of an important character, and the artists in question are standing strong in using her message to wash over the insidious, disgusting hatred being perpetuated by this group. The Kamala Korps are out in force to prove that hate will not stand, and I couldn’t be prouder.
