For all us diehard fans of the first, the idea of a Beetlejuice sequel is both terrifying and exhilarating, but up to now it’s been little more than wishful thinking.
Those wishes may in fact be coming true with Winona Ryder commenting “As far as I know, it’s going to happen,” in a recent interview.
Beetlejuice for those of you who don’t know was a 1988 horror comedy starring Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton, Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin among others, and has had long established cult status.
Who knows if a sequel will live up to the success and popularity of the first, but I’ll be the first one in the doors of the cinema looking to find out.
