AMC’s highly popular The Walking Dead series is getting a spinoff, announced back in 2013, the title for the project hasn’t been announced yet but now it’s being reported that the lead cast has been!
Deadline are reporting that Frank Dillane
(Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) will play a young who’s struggling with a drug problem, and Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm) is cast as his ambitious sister. The spinoff will revolve around an older male teacher and a female guidance counselor, her children, cast above, the series is created by Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson and will take place in the same timeline as the main series.
A pilot for the spinoff was ordered in September by AMC!
