There’s been no official word from Nintendo just yet but a very strange glitch is causing some players to face bans for up to 136 years. The glitch, first reported by Twitter user, Zenaorz1 after he experience the ban firsthand and faced 71,582,719 minutes downtime himself.
Several users of Reddit are discussing the possibility of faulty programming behind the glitch and advising players not to target a single player in an online match, to try and only use 1v1 until a patch is released and to not quit mid-match – avoid the key issues for being banned.
Nintendo have as of this article publishing, not responded to the glitch – we will update you as soon as they do!
