It seems that Nintendo aren’t going down without fight and if the sales for Super Smash Bros. 3Ds are any thing to go by then they’ve got some serious fight in them left with the gaming giant pointing to the millions of units sold.
“Strong launches in Europe, the Americas and Australia* have propelled the cumulative sales total for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS to more than 2.8 million worldwide. This first-ever portable instalment of the game has resonated with fans and critics alike, and its initial sales set Nintendo up for a strong Christmas season.”
To keep momentum going Nintendo have released the date for the Super Smash Bros Wii U Edition, slating it for a December 5th drop here in Europe, perfectly timed for Christmas and many fans Santa lists. On top of that from the 5th of December a standalone black Nintendo GameCube Controller – Super Smash Bros. Edition, as well as a standalone GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U.
