Marvel Announce ‘Secret Wars’
Some big news coming out of Marvel last night with writer Jonathan Hickman (Avengers, Fantastic Four, Secret Warriors) and artist Esad Ribic (Loki, Thor: The God of Thunder) will tackle a new, year-long Secret Wars project for Marvel Comics, the publisher announced tonight at the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. in Times Square.
Now we all know how clever the guys (and by clever I mean sneaky) over at the marketing and development department are at Marvel – if you think for moment this is going to just be a comic book event then you clearly forgot about that they launched a Guardians of the Galaxy comic before their 2014 summer blockbuster, with the aim of familiarising fans with the crew.
Couple all of this with RDJ flip flopping on Iron Man 4, TV and Movie appearances, Marvel’s cunningness and of course the fact that the company have slated this as their ‘biggest announcement’ of 2014.
