Harry Potter Spin-Off ‘At Least’ A Trilogy
We know David Yates is directing and that J.K. Rowling has penned the script for the Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and that there will be two more movies following on but now it seems that there could be more in store for the Wizarding World!
J.K. recently spoke about being approached about doing new work :
“I thought it was a fun idea, but the idea of seeing Newt Scaramander, the supposed author of Fantastic Beasts, realised by another writer was difficult… Having lived for so long in my fictional universe, I feel very protective of it”
The first movie is scheduled for November 18th 2016 and while that date can’t come any faster, now we’re looking beyond the trilogy as Kevin Tsujihara, the CEO of Warner Bros., remarked that this new series would be ”at least” a trilogy meaning the door has been left open for more movies at the very least (I’m doing my best to keep my imagination restrained here!).
The second and third movies in the trilogy are scheduled for 2018 and 2020.
