It is an exciting week for Nintendo releases for the Wii U and 3DS, starting off with the release of Bayonetta 2 and Bayonetta for the Wii U available on disc (€49.99) or download (€29.99) from the 24th of October. Having been such a success it was inevitable that Bayonetta would get a follow up game in Bayonetta 2 – Taking place a few months after the original game, strange things are beginning to happen. Angels are attacking in the streets, Gomorrah turns against Bayonetta and she only has a small amount of time to save Jeanne’s soul from the Inferno. It is bound to be a gripping game full of adventure.
Nintendo are not stopping with just Bayonetta this week, for any Donkey Kong fans out there they will be bananas for this release. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest.
Donkey Kong takes a back seat in this comic action game as he is kidnapped by Kaptain K. Rool who demands the banana hoard as ransom. DKC2_German_comic_(Title_Screen)The Kongs are having none of this, players can guide either Diddy or Dixie Kong in this game though eight wild worlds in this pirate themed game. Released on the Nintendo eShop on the 23rd of October it follows the first instalment of the game and will be followed by the third Dockey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble set for release on the 30th of October.
Lastly for the Nintendo 3DS look out for the Animal Crossing: New Leaf Jack, the Czar of Halloween available from 24th of October for €1.49 from the eShop – the theme features all favourite festive icons and folders, jack-o-lanterns and spooky music.
