I wasn’t allowed play F-Zero when I was a kid, believe it or not I got motion sick playing the game – because I was a hardcore six year old!
F-Zero was developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo solely for the SNES. The game was heralded not only for it’s innovative style and gameplay it is widely credited for creating the ‘futuristic racing’ genre not only that but it would go on to act as inspiration for many racing games across all genres. You might also recognise the game for another reason, it’s where Captain Falcon got his start before becoming an icon in his own right both on the racing track and in the fighting arena of the Smash Bros. series.
