VIZ Media announces Sailor Moon “Moonlight Party”
As if Sailor Moon fans were not excited enough having a reboot of the classic anime but Viz Media is now ready to celebrate the premiere of the English dubbed Sailor Moon episodes on Neon Alley and HULU with a special “Moonlight Party”.
Smash hit classic and reboot anime series Sailor Moon is inspired by the bestselling manga series that was created by Naoko Takeuchi. Known to us as Serena, but the series follows Usagi Tsukino is a clumsy school girl who transforms into the powerful soldier/guardian of love and justice Sailor Moon. It is up to her and her allies of planetary Sailor Guardians to fight and protect the universe from the forces of evil.
Fans are invited to partake in this virtual slumber party that will take place as a live stream event on VIZ Media’s YouTube channel (http://bit.ly/MnLtPty95) 8pm Friday September 5th. They will be celebrating the special premiere of the remastered Sailor Moon episodes 1 – 4 which features the whole new English cast – These exclusive dubbed episodes will only be available for a limited time.
While viewing fans will be able to submit to the Moonlight party their Sailor Moon questions in real time with the VIZ Media staff through many different social networks with #MoonlightParty and in the live stream comment section.
In VIZ Media’s first ever Moonlight Party there is a whole host of new Sailor Moon content with the addition of fans being able to watch the classic season 1 featuring the new English dub as episodes 5 – 23 will be available to stream on Sunday September 7th at 12am for a limited time. While also offering the whole team together including the moon princess they seek in episode 35 – 36 on Monday September 8th to celebrate the weekly Moonday.
Finally fans can also watch the brand new Sailor Moon Crystal episode, which introduces the fan favourite character Makoto Kino or as we know her Sailor Jupiter on Saturday, September 6th.
