Supergirl TV Series Is In Development
Last week we brought the news that there was a pitch for a Supergirl television series lingering in TV limbo and while there was a name attached to the producer team it was all still up in the air. Now we can confirm that Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl is getting her very own television series.
In an interview with CBR, Greg Berlanti (Arrow, Flash) has confirmed that he is turning his attention to the development of the show:
“We’re just starting to work on it…We haven’t gone to the networks yet, so. I’ll be happy, very excited to talk about it once we know where its home will be and that kind of stuff, but not at this moment.“
It was originally thought that Michael Green was involved but now Berlanti has cleared up the matter and that he’ll be teaming up with producer Ali Adler (No Ordinary Family, Chuck) to develop the TV series. Speculation has already begun to arise over future appearances of Supergirl on shows like Arrow and Flash, with initial reports claiming TV network The CW passing on the show – now we know it’s not true, would you be happy to see Kara appear alongside Queen and Allen in their shows?
