Sailor Moon Crystal 1st Blu-Ray Video And Full Set Revealed
Of course Sailor Moon fans everywhere are nearly chewing down their nails having to wait for each new episode of Sailor Moon Crystal to come out. The official YouTube channel for Sailor Moon has started streaming a “digest” video of the very first two episodes of Sailor Moon Crystal in line with the forthcoming release of the first deluxe edition Blu-Ray. Pin pointed for release in Japan on October 15th.
Sailor Moon fans are truly being spoilt with this Blu-Ray release (I know I need it) and even though there are only 2 episodes per edition, what do we expect? They are only coming out twice a month! In this edition there will be a clean version of the opening and closing themes for all those uber fans like me out there, audio commentary from many of the voice actors including Kenji Nokima otherwise known as Tuxedo Mask and Kotono Mitsuishi or Sailor Moon herself and also having commentary from director Munehisa Sakai and supervisor of the two episodes Fumio Osano. A nice surprise on this edition is the added commentary from Momoiro Clover Z who performs both the opening and closing themes.
The real surprise for fans when they purchase this deluxe edition is in the little extras of that fact it comes packaged in a music box which of course plays the opening theme. It will contain opening and ending storyboards, an application ticket to order the container for the whole collection of the Sailor Moon Crystal anime on Blu-Ray, a 28-page booklet and two charms from Bandai. A very nice haul for any Sailor Moon fan or collector. For now we will just have to bide our time and watch Sailor Moon Crystal as it comes.
