Record Smashing Sales for iPhone 6
It’s been announced that pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus have been smashing records with 4 million units in the first 24 hours – almost twice the number of iPhone 5 pre-orders that Apple received back in 2012 – according to BTIG analyst Walter Piecyk, this is roughly twice the number of iPhone 5 pre-orders that Apple received back in 2012. As of yet there has been no breakdown from Apple in relation to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus – although the 6 Plus is in limited supply at the moment – maybe explaining why the device sole out instantly when they became available on Friday. This news isn’t surprising given the demand over the last few years from Apple fans. A bigger display has been on the cards for a while and now Apple is finally delivering and given fans a choice between a 4.7-inch model and a 5.5-inch model and while Apple is a bit behind when it comes to releasing smartphones with bigger displays – this news proves that it hasn’t affected them too much!
