Fox released a brand new and extended preview for the upcoming show ‘Gotham‘. The new series will take a new look at how some of Gotham city’s best known and most reviled characters came to be the heroes, villains and icons that we know them as.
The series will focus on police officer Jim Gordon as he tries to keep Gotham from tumbling over the edge into total corruption – we will get a chance to see the origins of characters like Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin, Edward Nigma aka the Riddler, Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne as a young child recovering from the murder of his parents.
Gotham is written by Bruno Heller (The Mentalist) and stars Ben McKenzie, Sean Pertwee, Robin Lord Taylor and Jada Pinkett Smith. The series will premiere September 22 on FOX
