Leading Lady, Lauren Bacall, Dead at 89

Lauren Bacall, the glamorous Golden Age actress and fashion model who was a key figure in the film noir industry has died in her New York City Home in the Bogart Estate. She was 89.
Her death was first reported by MSNBC reporter Thomas Roberts, and shortly after was corroborated by TMZ, which said she had suffered a massive stroke. It was later confirmed by the Twitter account of the Bogart estate
Over a career that stretched into eight decades, Bacall won two Tony Awards, a Golden Globe, the Kennedy Center Honors and an honorary Oscar. In 1999, she was named one of the 25 most important women in Hollywood history by the American Film Institute.
She is survived by son Stephen, and daughter Leslie, with Bogart and a son with Robards, actor Sam Robards
