‘Gotham’ Finds Its Sal Maroni
The cast of Gotham hardly needed anymore good actors and characters, but here we are with another fine actor and character addition. From the streets of Miami to the streets of Gotham, from hunting serial killers and working with one to hiring them, actor David Zayaz has been cast as Sal Maroni for Gotham, Deadline reports.
David has been very well-known on television for his recurring role as Dectective Angel Batista throughout all 8 seasons of Dexter. As far as Sal Maroni is concerned, the character was last seen in 2008’s The Dark Knight and is said to be concerned with ‘rising the crime ladder of Gotham city’ in the show. David is a fine actor and I look forward to seeing what he can do with a role that’s a flip-side to his last big job.
