We already knew that Assassin’s Creed Unity was coming for PS4 and Xbox One this October, but yesterday Ubisoft revealed the first official trailer for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, this year’s iteration of the hugely popular franchise for PS3 and Xbox 360.
Rogue puts you in the bloodstained leather boots of Shay Cormac, an assassin-turned-templar now tasked with hunting his former brothers down one by one during the Seven Years’ War. He’s also probably Irish, going by his name and the oirish accent in the trailer, which is cool, if a little cringey.
Curiously, neither of this years’ Assassin’s Creed titles are called Assassin’s Creed V.
I suppose we’ll find out why when Unity and Rogue launch this Autumn.
