Adrianne Palicki Is Marvel’s Mockingbird
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D continues to expand its ensemble with yet more old-school heroes as Mockingbird, whose tied to both Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D will be joining the show in season 2, and Adrianne Palicki will be taking on the role. Palicki has made a brief appearance in Smallville, as well as being as in the ailed Wonder Woman TV series of 2011, so finally she has herself a regular 
superhero TV role, Superherohype reports.
Mockingbird made her comic debut in 1971 in Astonishing Tales #6, and is actually a super soldier with enhanced strength and speed thanks to a special serum (though not a direct relation of Captain America’s!) She has been romantically linked with Hawkeye in her comic history, though for now its unknown what way her story will play out in the show. Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 2 premieres September 23rd.
