Simpsons do Futurama and 'death'!
The Simpsons will cross paths with the crew of the ‘Planet Express’ from Futurama this autumn as part of the 26th season of the long-running animated show. The episode which was announced at Comic Con last year will air November and will see Fry, Leela, Bender and co. sent back in time to prevent Bart from altering Earth’s timeline drastically. the original lineup of voice talent will join the regular Simpsons voices for the adventure including Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, Lauren Tom and Tress MacNeille.
Producers for The Simpsons also broke the news that a character will meet their maker (no not Matt Groening!) this season and while they have been tight-lipped on the identity of the soon to be deceased, they have said that there is a hint in the title of the episode; “Clown in the Dumps“. No more ‘Krusty burgers’ then?
