‘Karen Page’ Cast for Netflix Daredevil Series
Karen Page, Matt Murdock’s secretary and love interest of Daredevil has been cast and a very familiar face has taken on the role. Fans of HBO’s True Blood series are sure to recognise, Deborah Ann Woll as Jessica Hamby vampire teen and protegé of Vampire Bill. Woll has played the role of Jessica for the entirety of the vampire TV series, quickly becoming one of the most popular characters among fans and her new role as Karen Page comes just as True Blood begins to wind down for it’s final season.
Karen Page featured in the 2003 movie which starred Ben Affleck as Daredevil, with the character portrayed by Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy). Fans of the Daredevil comic series will be more than familiar with Page’s history and it’s not a pleasant one but with no other details other than the casting news, we’re not sure what writers have in store for the character – let’s just hope it’s a little better off than her comic counterpart!
